This handcrafted mango wood bench celebrates material honesty and quiet strength. The wood has been left largely true to its natural state, allowing its warmth and texture to take center stage. Contrasting blackened wooden legs are inset directly into the bench, creating a striking visual rhythm while emphasizing the piece’s sculptural, architectural presence. The interplay between the light, raw mango wood and the deep black legs gives the bench a contemporary edge, while still feeling grounded and timeless. To achieve the black color the wood was burned several times.
